APPEARANCE
Akira is 5'8" tall and weighs 142 pounds or so. His hair is brown and kind of frames his face. His eyes are as almost bright sapphire blue, and always expressing some kind of feeling. His skin has a slight tanned tone, but he tends to be a little darker in the summer and a little lighter in the winter. He wears clothing that he finds comfortable, but usually is in a hoodie. He always is wearing darker colored clothes and maybe a necklace and wristbands. He wears almost skater, or scene, type clothing, but honestly that's just what's comfortable for him. He won't dress up unless he's forced to.
PERSONALITY
To say that Akira is socially awkward is kind of an understatement. He knows very little about how to interact with people or what is acceptable and what isn't. He is quite friendly however, and does at least try to get along with others, even though that doesn't really seem to happen very often for him.
Meek and timid, he's a rather shy person. For being as young and naive as a teenager should be, he is rather on the responsible side. He is quiet and hates to be a bother to other people. He is rather smart, but he won't say anything out of place if someone else has the situation under control.
He is really naive and trusts almost anyone, despite his past. Akira is a strict follower, and quite a people pleaser, and tends to be used by a lot of people, as he really does want to make everyone happy. An optimist by nature, he has never really been extremely angry at anything, and doesn't understand the more positive emotions, though he does try really hard, which often leads him to be easily confused on matters revolving around such things.
While not entirely new to the world, there are still a lot of things that Akira hasn't discovered or experienced. He is very excitable and curious about every new thing that he encounters.
